Therapy

A one-on-one session in a safe, caring, and confidential environment to explore feelings, beliefs and behaviors.

Therapists guide and structure sessions to deepen understanding, identify goals and obstacles, help solve problems and improve quality of life and connection.

As children grow, they often develop the social skills and emotional intelligence necessary to lead healthy, happy lives. However, sometimes things get off track.

Therapy helps children regulate and shed light on the meaning behind their behaviors, as well as provides important resources to caregivers.

Relationships are hard work. Like cars, they require regular maintenance. Differences in communication styles can lead to misunderstanding and eroded empathy and intimacy between partners.

Therapy can help re-establish intimacy, improve communication and foster mutual respect and closeness.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Families can benefit from therapy when they experience a stressful event that may strain relationships, such as financial hardship, loss or divorce.

Therapy can also be effective in treating concerns that impact the family as a whole, such as communication problems or interpersonal conflict. Understanding and collaboration among family members is promoted.

Walk and Talk is similar to traditional therapy, except you are walking while processing. Movement enriches the session for mental and physical reasons, helps clients get "unstuck" when confronting issues and spurs deeper thinking and engagement.

Clients who become anxious in traditional face-to-face interactions may benefit from walking with visual distractions.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of difficult life experiences.

Through focusing on distressing material in brief doses while also focusing on an external stimulus, EMDR helps people quickly and effectively psychologically heal.
